Well, performing is fun but it is a very serious art form. I guess being ‘silly’ is fine if you don’t plan on using dance to further yourself in the future or if you’re Donald O’Conner…then again, even he sustained a few injuries in the process. I won’t completely knock you for your ‘artistic’ choice. I am sure that you worked quite hard on it.

Fascinating. I just watched your video and I must give credit, where credit is due. Well done. After watching performances I usually give advice that is neither considerate nor helpful, but I was impressed. So, why a broom? You couldn’t find a partner that could live up to your level of performance? Its understandable if so. Good performers are hard to come by, most are just very lazy.
Thanks and no, I actually wanted to go with the mop because it was something silly and that’s how I am in general. The assignment was to choose a song that you felt reflected you personally, so I chose to do that.
My mom just emailed this video from one of the last main performances I did. I must say that mop was a lovely dance partner.
